MOTHER – DAUGHTER — MOTHER – DAUGHTER-IN-LOVE TIME!
We know that mothers and daughters are very special, and we also know that mothers and daughters in-law are also special, so this is a place for them as well!
AGELESS MOTHER DAUGHTER ACTIVITIES
When it’s raining out, take time to go out and take a walk in the rain, spin circles with your arms raised in the air in praise to God for His grace that rains down!
Cook together your favorite meals and take it to someone in need.
Create a family “newsletter” of recent events or happenings. This would be great to add as a family tradition and easy to add to your holiday cards!
Plant flowers together and sit outside to read and soak in God’s creation, saying prayers of thanksgiving together.
PLAN A MOTHER DAUGHTER TIME TOGETHER!
A Mother Daughter Day doesn’t have to be elaborate or expensive to be successful. It can actually be planned in a very short time. The key to a memorable day is choosing activities and events that all of you will enjoy. You will need to take into account different interests and physical abilities when planning the day. Be willing to be flexible when it comes to scheduling.
Take a class together. Learn to paint, make chocolate or ice skate. Take a trip to the zoo and them come home and paint your favorite animal together. If more than one class is offered, make Mother Daughter Day an ongoing activity.
Enjoy the outdoors together. Spend the day at a water park or go hiking at a local state park. Pack a picnic full of everyone’s favorite foods and enjoy a game of badminton or volleyball.
Make a reservation for tea at a local B&B or a quaint restaurant or simply have your own tea party at home. Make sure it’s complete with fancy sandwiches and a variety of teas. Put on the music and take time to dance and giggle and make beautiful memories together! Teach your daughter about the priceless things in life are really for free!
Start a Mother-Daughter Journal. Take turns writing about your day and then read to get the other’s perspective and to mark the days and years of growth together.
